I work
freelance for a diverse client base including a cosmetology
school, a hair salon, a professional photographer, a
manufacturing company, and my own "special
occasions" design studio.
I have several years of experience designing professional
advertising brochures, websites, newsletters, presentations,
business cards, billboards, and marketing packages for small
businesses. This has become my niche in nearly every
office job since high school! I also went on to
attend Grand Valley State University, majoring in fine arts
with emphasis in graphic design. My schooling and the
freedom I was given to design on the computer at my earlier
jobs is how I honed my skills to the level I am at
now.
Recently I began designing and printing distinctive
stationary, invitations, and announcements for all
occasions, serving both individual and corporate clients.
This has become a very rewarding part of my business. I
love the challenge of designing unique materials for
everything from weddings to surprise birthday parties.
The look of delight on my client's face when she/he sees the
finished product is what makes this facet of my job so fun and
fulfilling.
In addition to my love of art and design, I enjoy
scrap booking, working on the computer, getting together with family and friends, and
spending time with my husband and four children.
